Roxann Pazdera joined the staff at UW-Marinette in the fall of 2008. An alumna from UW-Marinette, she completed her degree in English at UW-Green Bay. She has directed the Bay Area Pregnancy Services and coordinated the Resource Development for the Twin Counties Free Clinic in Marinette. AmeriCorps is often described as the domestic Peace Corps. VISTA stands for Volunteer In Service To America and is the program that specifically targets poverty. Roxann works as a liaison between our campus and the Marinette Middle School developing and implementing service learning projects in an effort to increase awareness of the requirements and expectations of high school that will lead students to successful entry into and completion of a post-secondary education.
