Dr. Oitzinger has taught English and Philosophy courses at UW-Marinette since 1983. In 1998, she and prof. Katherine Holman received the Chamber of Commerce "Achievement in Education Award" for their work with Learning Communities, a movement in higher education to cluster or combine courses from different disciplines around seminars. Dr. Oitzinger is also an avid golfer.
