Zac Britton, a staff writer at the EagleHerald, joined the faculty in the fall of 2007 to teach COM 104 "Newspaper Writing" while helping students produce "The Manifest" student newspaper. Britton has nine years of experience in print journalism including work as a sports editor for Alpena News in Alpena, Michigan; magazine editor for Harris Publishing, and sports editor at the Post Register, both located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. In 2006 and 2007 he won awards for sports column and sports feature from the Wisconsin Press Association.
