An alumna of UW-Marinette, Cindy Bailey began working in Student Services in 1997
and was named Assistant Dean in 2002. She received the Academic Staff of the
Year Award each year from 1998 to 2005 and in 2007, and was named the UW Colleges
Outstanding Academic Staff Member in 2001. She received the Marinette Area
Chamber of Commerce “Achievement in Education” Award in 2002 and was named
the UW-Marinette Kaplan Fellow in 2005.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from UW-Stevens
Point and her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Marian
College in Fond du Lac. Her background and current responsibilities in
student services cover academic advising, student activities, financial aid,
career counseling and high school recruiting.

Cindy is also involved in many community organizations including the
Marinette/Menominee Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, the M&M Area
Community Foundation Board of Directors, as well as the Scholarship and the
Marketing Committees. She lives in Marinette with her husband Tom and 2
sons.
