Bethany Buehrly
Superior Central
Beth is a Sophomore from Superior Central High School that I predict will make a significant contribution to this year’s team. She has excellent fundamental skills and works extremely hard in practice. She works continuously to create opportunities for her teammates and herself. Beth played 4 years of basketball and 1 year of volleyball in high school and was very successful at both.
Ashley Christensen
Oconto Falls
Ashley ‘aka C” is a freshman player from Oconto Falls High School. She is very quick and has very good ball handling and shooting skills. She has an aggressive defensive style and will draw some of the tough assignments throughout the year. She will play the guard position will be an exciting player to watch.
Kim is a National Honors Society student who was on the volleyball, basketball (captain), softball and track teams during her four years at Peshtigo High school. Kim played 2 seasons with the Lady Bucs volleyball team. She is an elementary education major.
Moldova
Marina is an International Student from Moldeva. She has played basketball in her home country and brings a great deal of enthusiasm to the team. Marina is a hard worker in practice and gives a maximum effort all the time. She is constantly learning and picking up the “American style” of basketball quite quickly.
North Central
Sam attended North Central High school where she played basketball for 4 years and ran track for 2 years. She is a very determined individual and brings a strong sense of commitment to the team. Sam will play the guard position where the team will benefit from her ball handling skills and quickness.
Kaitlin Lee
Pembine
Kaitlin played four years of basketball at Pembine High School where she earned MVP her junior and senior year. In addition Kaitlin earned 1st team all-conference honors all four years and achieved one thousand career points by her junior year. She is a very versitile player and brings a strong post presence to the team.
Ashley Owens
Menominee
Ashley is a sophomore from Menominee High School. Ashley handles the ball very well and is an excellent passer who sees the whole court. She is also a solid offensive threat who is extremely accurate from 15 feet and in. She will add strength to our offense and create many opportunities with her skills for attacking the basket.
Katie Jo played four years of volleyball and basketball, one year of softball and 3 years of track at Gillett High School. She was also a member of the Lady Bucs volleyball team for 2006-07.
Krystal Shutte
Wabeno
Krystal is a second year player and 2004 graduate from Wabeno High School where she scored over 1000 points. She has earned honorable mention, MVP two years, 1st team all conference, and player of the year. Krystal is pursuing a major in English Writing with Journalism minor. She helped lead her high school team to 3 regional championships and will be an important part of our offense this year.
Monica Smalls
Marinette
Monica is a freshman from Marinette High School where she played basketball for four years and track for three years. She is a very strong post player and very dedicated to the sport of basketball. Monica works hard in practice and in school and is a pleasure to coach because of her positive attitude.
