dehart

Devon DeHart - Freshman
Ht: 5-9; Guard
High School: Crandon
H. S. Coach: Richard Gretzinger

Devan is very quick. He is a good ball handler who will be competing for a starting position at point guard this year. Devan was named to Honorable Mention on the Northern Lakes All-Conference Team.

druais

Eric Druais - Freshman
Ht: 5-6; Guard
High School: Lycee St. Vincent
H. S. Coach:

Eric has great quickness and good knowledge of the game of basketball, having played for 12 years. He is also an avid soccer player. Eric plans to join the team for the second semester.

Josh Enders - Freshman
Ht: 6-2; Guard/Forward
High School: Florence
H. S. Coach: Tom Beck

Josh was a 1,000 point scorer in high school. He was mostly an inside player in high school but will be asked to play some of the time at the perimeter at the college level. Josh was named to the First Team All-Conference for the Northern Lakes Conference.

Kyle Fischer - Freshman
Ht: 6-3; Forward
High School: Peshtigo
H. S. Coach: Rick Neumann

Kyle was a four sport athlete at Peshtigo High School. He played football, basketball, baseball and track. Kyle played on the UW - Marinette club soccer team where he played exceptionally well as the team's goalie last fall. Kyle will be asked to provide some strength in the post for the basketball team.

Brad Golz - Sophomore
Ht: 6-3; Guard
High School: Marinette
H. S. Coach: Daren Sommerfeldt

Brad was a starter for most of last season. He is an outstanding shooter who has shown great improvement in taking the ball to the basket. Brad averaged 6.8 points per game for the Buccaneers last year and shot 41% from the three-point line and 92% from the free throw line. As a co-captain, Brad will be called upon to be a leader on this very young team.

Chris Meunier - Freshman
Ht: 6-7; Forward
High School: Peshtigo
H. S. Coach: Rick Neumann

Chris could not play his high school senior season because of knee injury in summer before his senior year. Has tremendous potential – good inside player and can also step outside and hit the 3 point shot..

mirzayev

Mirali Mirzayev - Sophomore
Ht: 5-10; Guard
High School: Baku School #9
H.S. Coach:

Ali is a dedicated worker in practice. He is new to the game of basketball but is very athletic. He is also a member of the campus soccer club.

 

neubert

Ryan Neubert- Freshman
Ht: 6-0; Guard
High School: Marinette
H.S. Coach: Daren Sommerfeldt

Ryan is a solid defender and a good ball handler who will provide depth at the guard position. He is a hard worker who will battle for some playing time.

 

shutte

Zak Shutte - Sophomore
Ht: 5-9; Guard
High School: Wabeno
H. S. Coach: Mike Chrisman

Zak was with the team last year but was not able to compete in games because of early season surgery. Zak is expected to show leadership and will be one of the top competitors at the point guard position.

stjuliana

Josh St. Juliana - Sophomore
Ht: 6-1; Guard
High School: Stephenson
H. S. Coach: Jason Strohl

Josh is another excellent outside shooter. He started slow last season because of an early season injury but was a big contributor down the stretch. Josh averaged 5.8 points per game for the Buccaneers last year and was a 43% shooter. As a co-captain, Josh will be a leader on the team.

Jordan Young - Freshman
Ht: 6-1; Guard
High School: Escanaba
H. S. Coach: Tracy Hudson

Jordan is an outstanding athlete who will play point guard. He will compete for a starting position. He is an outstanding leaper who can dunk the ball despite being about 6’ tall. He gets to the basket very well and can create scoring opportunities for himself and others. Jordan was First Team All-Conference in the Great Northern Conference and was named to the First Team of the Upper Peninsula Class A-B-C.
