Into the Woods at UW-Marinette

UW-Marinette Continuing Education Childrens Theatre will be presenting Into the Woods Junior by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim Thursday through Sunday, Jan. 29 Feb 1 in the Herbert L. Williams Theatre.
Into the Woods Jr is a musical fairy tale in which Jack, the giant killer (Casey Hoffman), Little Red Ridinghood (Erin Ehlers), the wolf (TJ Bertagnoli), Cinderella (Molly McFarlane), Rapunzel (Leah VanLannen), and their respective princes (Brian Roeder and TJ Bertagnoli) and a wicked witch (Sara Bertagnoli) are all living out their stories in the same forest at the same time, bumping into each other and entangling one anothers narratives. Other major roles include the Baker played by Matt LaFleur and Colleen Johnston as the Bakers wife.
Three adaptations including Cinderella, Little Red Ridinghood and Jack and the Bean Stalk will precede the main production of Into the Woods Junior.

The production is directed by Amanda Rhines and Courtney Monnette. Musical direction, set design and choreography is by Rhines. Scott Grenlund is the lighting designer. Sound design is by Philip Smith. The stage manager is Susan Heider and the assistant stage managers are Barbara Bertagnoli and Casey Mines
The cast of
nearly fifty can be seen January 29 through January 31 at 7 pm and
Sunday February 1 at 2 pm at the UW-Marinette campus. Tickets are
$ 5 and $7 and can be purchased at the box office beginning January
26. Box office hours are 5 7 pm Monday Saturday and
