Academic Search Elite A multidisciplinary database that contains full-text articles un the arts.
Art Full-Text Contains journal articles, museum bulletins, and yearbooks. Coverage begins in 1984 with full-text coverage beginning in 1997.
Education Full-Text Contains articles from trade and scholarly journals in education as well as the arts. Coverage begins in 1995 with full-text coverage starting in 1996.
Grove Art Contains the full-text of the Grove Dictionary of Art as well as journal articles and electronic images of artwork.

Digital Art Collections

Ad Access Holds images and information for over 7,000 advertisements in U.S. and Canadian newspapers and magazines between 1911-1955.
ARTstor One of the most comprehensive and well organized collections of fine art available online. ARTstor contains all genera of art from all over the world including the Art History Survey Collection, the Carnegie Arts of the United States Collection, the Hartill Archive of Architecture and Allied Arts, the Huntington Archive of Asian Art, the Illustrated Bartsch, the MIDA, the Museum of Modern Art, Architecture, and Design Collection, Native American Art and Culture from the Smithsonian Institution, and the Image Gallery.
Grove Art Contains electronic images of thousands of works of art, full-text of the Grove Dictionary of Art and journal articles.
Louvre Museum Selected digital images from one of the greatest art museums in the world. Paintings, sculpture and other impressive works are available online.
NYPL Digital Gallery A collection of 30,000 digitized images from prints, postcards, magazines, newspapers, books, and original photographs. Most of the images were created before 1923.
Perseus Project From Tufts University, this digital library contains thousands of images and descriptions of Greek and Roman art, architecture, coins, pottery, sculpture, buildings, and sites. The collection also contains museum photography which provides additional images of antiquity from the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, British Museum, and Staatl.
University of Wisconsin Digital Collections This multidisciplinary collection holds manuscripts, books, journal articles, speeches, drawings, art, and photographs. Subjects include art, anthropology, history, literature, biography, science, and more.
