Applications of Modern Shipbuilding Design

Dates: September 8 - November 12, 2009

Times: Asynchronous with occasional real-time meetings as arranged by instructor.

Facilitator: Jason Flatt

Flatt is a naval architect at Marinette Marine Corporation in Marinette, Wisconsin. He earned his B.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and his M.S. in Ocean Technology and Commerce from the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture.

Computer requirements: The minimum OS should be XP with Service Pack 2. XP and Vista already installs RDT on the computer when the OS is installed.  However, an updated version of Remote Desktop Connection (Terminal Services Client 6.0) for Windows XP (KB925876)is located here.

Network Connect:
DSL or Broadband. Dial up will not work.

Basically, computers purchased in the last 3 years should be fine.
 

Costs: $1395 + $250 technology fee or $1645 total. This cost does not include the cost of the textbook. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
