University of Wisconsin-Marinette

International Students

UW-Marinette has one of the longest-running and most robust international student programs of the 13 two-year UW Colleges campuses. Students have come from all over the world including countries in Asia, Europe and South and Central America to study for one semester or several years. Our campus is small, safe and welcoming as are the border cities of Marinette, Wisconsin, and Menominee, Michigan. The surrounding area of Wisconsin's north woods and Lake Michigan is stunningly beautiful.

Students may take English as a Second Language classes through the Continuing Education Office or enroll for academic classes leading to a degree. Click here for more information about admission requirements, the application process, and Guaranteed Transfer to UW System schools.

If you are part of the Youth for Understanding program, housing is arranged with host families in the area.

Student Housing is available for international students.

International students are active members of campus clubs and organizations and take opportunities to travel to other parts of Wisconsin and the US while they are here.
