Learn About UW-Marinette

LEARNING COMMUNITIES

At UW-Marinette, students have the opportunity to form Learning Communities with faculty and students by simultaneously enrolling in team-taught courses or regular courses clustered around a 1-credit seminar.

These courses meet the Interdisciplinary Studies (IS) requirement for the associate degree. Learning Communities give students opportunities for greater interaction with instructors and classmates, increase their understanding and retention of course material, and help them see connections among fields of study and their own lives. Look for the LC designation in the course schedules.
