Physical Education is a multi-dimensional field of study which provides professional careers in an exciting range of vocational options. Career opportunities exist in many areas including education, fitness, health, sports and leisure.
At UW-Marinette, students can begin their physical education major with foundation courses in liberal arts studies along with specific physical education courses.
The Buccaneer Athletic programs also offer opportunities to play team sports including men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball. Intramural sports include flag football, ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, softball, broomball and pool. The newly remodeled physical education facilities include a PE lab/classroom and expanded weight room with Nautilis equipment for workouts in addition to the gym and pool which are shared with the University YMCA and open to students, faculty and their families.
