Lara is a lifelong resident of the Menominee, Marinette Community and graduated with her associated degree from UW-Marinette in 2008. She completed her Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Administration and Communication from UW-Milwaukee in May of 2009. She joined the campus in December of 2010 as an Administrative Assistant for the UW-Marinette Foundation.
