- Dean and CEO, University of Wisconsin-Marinette. Tenured Assistant Professor of English, English Department, University of Wisconsin Colleges. August 1, 2004-present.
- Dean of Instruction (formerly titled Dean of Teaching and Learning), Nicolet Area Technical College, Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Served as liaison to academic programs; oversaw college-wide curriculum design, documentation and adherence to state standards; developed and managed course- and program-articulations; developed all shared program agreements, and managed all professional development coursework and travel. March 200 -July, 2004.
- Director, Center for Teaching and Learning, Georgia Perimeter College, Decatur, Georgia. Responsible for the strategic, logistical and administrative management of all faculty development training and programming across five campuses, serving over 300 full-time faculty members. June 1999-March 2001.

Arranged for classes to attend productions at Atlanta-area theaters; meet with artistic directors, production staff and actors; participate in “Talk-Back” sessions with cast and crew; and discuss plays with Atlanta Journal-Constitution theater critic. Prepared background reading materials and led discussions and critiques. In summer of 1999, organized and took class on trip to New York to see four Broadway productions. 1998-2001.
- Associate Coordinator, Teaching Portfolio Program. Center for Teaching and Learning, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana (on sabbatical from DeKalb College). Coordinated the Teaching Portfolio Program, training 18 faculty mentors who consulted individually with up to 40 faculty client participants each semester on developing their teaching portfolios, an instrument that came to be approved as an alternative to the traditional faculty evaluation process. Administered project assessment instrument designed in conjunction with the Office of Academic Assessment. Ball State University, August 1994-December 1995.

Designed and coordinated two faculty development programs, including management of recruiting, hiring and training, budget and equipment, public relations and program assessment. - Conference Chair, 8th International Arthur Miller Conference. Hosted 8th international conference, the first time the conference was held in the Midwest. Determined conference theme, “Miller and Middle America,” and selected keynote speakers; secured conference location; handled logistical arrangements; refereed papers; set program; coordinated all on-site details. - Captain, American Cancer Society, “Relay for Life” Team. Organized and led a Relay for Life Team for two consecutive years—2002 and 2003. In the second year, raised the third highest amount of any team in the county. Received Team recognition at Relay banquet, August, 2003.
- Faculty Volunteer for Disability Resource Program. Served as a campus resource person to assist faculty in learning about disabilities and ways to assist students with disabilities. Center for Disability Services, DeKalb College. 1993-94.

- Volunteer Writer and Trainer. Wrote grant proposals (obtaining funding for the first rape-crisis-center-based medical clinic in the state of Georgia), wrote Speaker's Bureau Training Manual and served as Chairperson of Speaker's Bureau, training rape-prevention speakers.
